We had its first ever To My Younger Self book hang out in collaboration with @lonadekinc. Our contributors @osayia @actfoundation_@ibilolaamao@lonadekinc@ronkeonadeko@adeatobatele and #LanreOnadeko were there to share their #experiences, #advice, #inspire, #clarify & answer #life, #career, #business & #education questions. 
The scope of the discussions were broad. @osayia talked about learning to live in the now, making the best of it and appreciating wherever you are on a journey, there is always something to learn and growth potentials at every stage . She emphasised on how you cant do everything, be everything & take on every cause. You have to preserve yourself to keep giving.

#LanreOnadeko talked extensively about how our progenitors were people of #vision, how in his university days #Nigerians opted for study in Nigeria because there was no advantage going abroad. He talked of the richness in the curriculum, faculty, extra curricula activity & the enabling environment the universities provided.

Dr ibiola Amao spoke about discovering your #success drivers. How the understanding of the roles #tools, #systems, #processes and #collaborations are the keys to making ideas a reality in a scalable and sustainable way. This makes good the execution. Her advice is to focus on those element to guarantee successful outcomes. She introduced the attendees to psychometric tests that point you to your best suited career as career counselling in secondary & tertiary institutions don’t exist any more.

Ade Atobatele pressed on the attendees that the majority is not always right, ones career choice may not be popular but you should follow your instincts. He encouraged the group to not get intimidated by size of others. nobody is too big that you cant beat them, there is always a genius card you can play to beat the competition. 
The convener of the hangout & author of the book “ToMyYoungerSelf” charged attendees that wherever or whatever they are in life to make sure if they do not have the #1 spot, they should be a formidable and visible #2 because they day of opportunity will come for a takeover. They must be ready.
